We're thrilled to share that Bayliner's Element has won yet again-this time as the Powerboat of the Year in the Starter Boat category at the 2014 Motor Boat Awards gala in London. IPC Marine Media hosted the ceremony which saw 55 finalists throw their contributions into the ring across nine categories. The judges' panel was comprised of boat testers from Motor Boat & Yachting and Motor Boats Monthly.
"We are so pleased the Element has achieved the high honor of winning the Powerboat of the Year award. It's proof that our mission not only to make boating better, but to make boating better for more people, has been noticed by our customers and peers," said Bayliner Boats President Keith Yunger. "The whole Bayliner team is delighted the boating community celebrates a craft that prioritizes accessibility, safety and a family-centric design. This award acknowledges the smiles and memories Element has already created for families all over the world."
Across-the-board accessibility and safety have played a big part in the success of Element. As we move into the new year with even more praise for Element, new-to-boating families can be assured that this particular Bayliner was designed for them. With its affordable price and safety features, like the patent-pending M-HullTM design that provides 30% more lateral stability, a deep freeboard and high gunnels, all passengers will feel at ease immediately. Customers will be happy with that kind of safety design when they experience Element's powerful 60-hp Mercury Four Stroke BigFoot Outboard, or choose the option of a Sport configuration to thrill watersports enthusiasts. Element has exceeded both our expectations and the expectations of new boaters across the world, and this recent award affirms Element's place on the water.
